Jack Shafer on the Christmas Conundrum

I'm on the phone with Jack Shafer and he asks an obvious question: Why, if most of the great Christmas songs are written by Jews, do the Jews not have any great Hannukah songs? "Or Purim songs," he added.

Someone help me out here.
